Every year the 48th cadets volunteer for the GoodLife Marathon. Duties in the past included parade marshals, water station, medal presenters etc. Lt. Elliot will be organizing a group of volunteers for this year's race

About the event
The 48th Highlanders Army Cadets have been volunteering with the Toronto GoodLife Marathon for many years, and this year is no exception. Lt Elliott will be organizing a team to perform various duties and they will be compensated with community service hours for their time. Some of the duties in the past have been Parade Marshall (similar to a traffic cop directing runners along a route), Water Station Help (providing water to the runners along the route), and Medal Presenters (distributing participant awards).
When: Sunday, May 6, 2018
Where: Meet at Fort York Armoury (see map below)
Time: 0700hrs-1400hrs (7am-2pm)
Dress: Appropriate civilians (Dress for the day! Make sure to have a raincoat, sunscreen and water!)
